Miner completes first diamond drill programme at copper-gold project

Investment advances Vancouver-based Pacific Ridge Exploration has announced that the business has completed its first ever diamond drill programme at the RDP copper-gold project. The asset is located in Canada’s province of British Columbia.

 

“The company completed 1,861 m of drilling at RDP in six drill holes,” Pacific Ridge Exploration said in a statement.

 

The RDP drill programme is funded by Antofagasta Minerals S.A., an offshoot of Antofagasta PLC, “who can earn a 75% interest in the Project by spending $10,000,000 on exploration over eight years and delivering a preliminary economic assessment report. Pacific Ridge is the operator and supported the drill program from the Kliyul copper-gold project … camp where the planned 6,000 m diamond drill program is ongoing,” according to the statement.
