Miner reports progress on U.S. gold project

Vancouver-based Lincoln Gold Mining has an-nounced it is in the final stages of completing baseline work for the environmental impact statement (EIS) at its Pine Grove gold project in Nevada, the U.S.

 

“The two remaining permitting milestones to be completed are the Cultural Resources Study and the development of the water source for the proposed gold mine,” the miner said in a statement.

 

Lincoln has commissioned Kautz Environmental Consultants to carry out the cultural resources studies, and hired Mahannah & Associates to provide hydrologic consulting services that will include oversight of the water well drilling programme.

 

“Once these studies are completed, the Company can proceed with the NEPA Environmental Impact Statement process through the Company's NEPA contractor, Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.,” ac-cording to the statement.

 

The Pine Grove pold Project in located in the Walker Lane structural zone in Nevada’s western part.
