This year’s conference program is built on three critical pillars: Innovation & Technology, Social Responsibility, and Workplace Safety. The sessions reflect the rapid transformation of the mining industry, where digitalization and sustainability are no longer future visions but daily practices.
Industry leaders paving the way
The conference features significant contributions from some of the industry's most influential actors, all of whom are pioneers in their respective fields. A few examples:
· Boliden: Dr. Peter Wallin will share unique insights from the company’s electrification journey, focusing on the fully electric Rävliden mine. Additionally, the award-winning digital evacuation system ”Blast Safe” from the Aitik mine will be showcased.
· LKAB: In a collaborative session on engineering efficiency, the practical benefits of segmented girth gear technology and its impact on maintenance optimization will be discussed.
· Metso: Daniela Witt, Director of Health and Safety, addresses one of the industry's most vital topics – fostering and maintaining a proactive safety culture on a global scale.

The program's depth is further enhanced by insights from several key players. Sandvik contributes expertise on next-generation autonomous solutions, while RPMGlobal highlights the importance of data-driven planning for maximizing resource efficiency.
