Canada’s McEwen Mining has announced ex-panded production at its Gold Bar mine in Nevada, Canada’s Fox Complex, and the San Jose mine in Argentina. In the first nine months of 2021, the three properties increased their production by 54, 26, and 43 percent, respectively, compared with the same period a year earlier.

“Our operations delivered production results in line with our expecta-tions, and we are on track to meet our 2021 production guidance of 141,000 to 160,400” gold equivalent ounces, the company said in a statement.

At the same time, the miner says that the results of the Fox Complex expansion preliminary economic assessment (PEA) are expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.

“The study will incorporate the 2021 exploration and resource defini-tion drilling results and will highlight the exciting development plans for the Grey Fox and Stock deposits,” according to the statement.

McEwen Mining says it is focused on gold, silver and copper mining.
