U.S. miner Paramount Gold Nevada has announced that it recently submitted a modified plan of operation to the Bureau of Land Management for the company’s planned gold mining operations in Eastern Oregon, the U.S.

Glen Van Treek, the president and chief operational officer of Para-mount Gold Nevada, was quoted in a statement as saying that the company’s “goal [is] to successfully move to the next phase in the permitting process, we have timed the state and federal application submissions to coincide with each other. With the submission of the Plan of Operations our expectation is that we will see the initiation of the EIS in the very short term”.

The business says it is a U.S.-based precious metals exploration and development company with a 100 percent interest in four gold pro-jects: Grassy Mountain, Frost, Sleeper, and Bald Peak.
