C3 Metals has announced assays from a further seven holes from its ongoing drilling programme at the Jasperoide copper-gold project in Peru’s southern part.

“All seven holes were drilled on Line JAS2750 at the Montana de Co-bre zone, located 50 metres north of high-grade copper-gold miner-alization reported on Line JAS2700,” the Canadian company said in a statement. “Drilling continues to intersect high-grade copper-gold mineralization across the shallow dipping skarn domain that is later-ally extensive for 400m to 600m and varies from 100m to 150m in true thickness.”

The miner says that drilling activities at the Cresta Verde zone are “progressing well,” and assay results are pending for a further 10 drill holes.

“Our geologists have logged sulphide mineralization including chal-copyrite, together with molybdenite, associated with intense skarn development in two of the first three holes at Cresta Verde,” said Kevin Tomlinson, the president and CEO of C3 Metals.
