For this purpose, new equipment was put into operation - a mobile tunneling shield "Vostok-10", which, according to plans of the investor, should significantly speed mining works.

That will ensure the development of the field for the next 30-50 years.

Currently, the enterprise conducts works on the sites, which were prepared back in the Soviet period. The volume of ore reserves in them will be enough for the next 5-10 years.

The Mariinsky mine is the only emerald deposit in Russia. The annual volume of processing is 94,000 tonnes. The production of emeralds at the mine is estimated at 150 kg., along with 15 kg of alexandrite, more than 5 tons of beryl.
