A source with access to reports that are said to indicate unidentified gold lode and placer mines in the U.S. state of Arizona comprise significant reserves of the precious metal has informed MiningMetalnews.com the mines’ owner is seeking a partner to acquire a 50 percent stake in the business.

The Arizona mines’ “owner is looking to partner on a 50/50 share,” the source said.

Claiming they were in possession of a geologist’s research that proved the significant reserves, the source said on the reports that, if they are “based on reality [they] would make the Arizona mines in terms of gold reserves larger than even Newmont Mining’s reserves … across all its properties.” However, the source did not disclose the exact resources that the lode and placer mines are said to comprise.
