Canadian miner pours first gold at Red Lake

Canadian miner Pure Gold has announced that first gold has been poured at its mine in Red Lake, in Canada’s Ontario, following the introduction of ore to the mine’s mill.

 

“With our first gold pour, we have transitioned to producer, and deliv-ered on our promise to build Canada’s newest gold mine in the heart of Red Lake Ontario, on budget and on schedule,” said Darin Labrenz, the president and chief executive of PureGold, as quoted in a statement.

 

Commercial production is scheduled to be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2021, according to the statement.
