The new sanctions of the US Department of Commerce will not affect the production processes of VSMPO-Avisma, the world's largest titanium producer, which is based in Russia, according to recent statements, made by representatives of the company.

Last week the US department has published a list of 103 companies, primarily from Russia and China, which are associated with the armed forces and exports of technologies to which will be a subject of restrictions.

As an official spokesman of VSMPO-Avisma told in an interview with the Russian Ria Novosti news agency, currently the company uses only Russian technologies in its titanium production, most of which are the own developments of the company. That means it currently does not need any foreign technologies, particularly those from the US.

At present VSMPO-Avisma Corporation remains the world's largest titanium producer, which operates on a full cycle basis. The company supplies products to the markets of 50 countries, being deeply integrated into the global aerospace industry and acting as a strategic titanium supplier for many strategic industries.
