The first North-listed oil and gas company Maha Energy has been forced to stop drilling at the 107-D project in the Tartaruga field in Brazil.

An unexpected mishap has damaged the drill rig, which is now being investigated to assess the extent of the damage. As of Tuesday 30 October, all activities will be suspended until a new drilling plan, cost estimate and schedule can be established.

Maha expects to be able to provide new messages soon, the company states in a press release.
